Logo Design

Jenny from the Block has danced with all the industries

Check out a few of my logo creations

Logos are your elevator speech in half a second. They convey your business name, look, vibe and color palette in a quick glance, which creates a big challenge to make it simplified and on point. I’ve worked with realtors and dentists, hair stylists and musicians — all with the common goal of having their logo tell their clients who they are in one simple type and image layout. With a ton of experience, I’ve got you covered! Check out some of my logo designs below.

Logo design pretty much goes like…

We chat and you’ll fill out one of my cool brand questionnaires so I can learn more about your business and style

I research your industry, clients, and competitors

You receive rounds of various logo drafts for your review, and I listen intently to your ‘oohs and ahhs’, as well as your critique & feedback

I finalize your new logo, and deliver all files in color and black & white, in all use case formats (web, print, etc.)

Logo Spotlight

Purdue University & Kaplan University combine to become Purdue Global

There were so many cooks in this kitchen, I still consider it one of my most difficult design jobs! Purdue and Kaplan joined educational forces to create “Purdue University Global” — a premiere online academy that would focus on an international student base. The initial ask was to make sure the logo represented “education, space, agriculture, aeronautics, boilermakers, the heartland, worldwide culture, digital learning, traditional teaching….” not kidding! So after a million and a half design iterations, we settled on the classic of all classics — the globe. Hey, it worked! Below is a mini visual case study, as well as some use cases of the finished logo and mark.

Jenny is an absolute dream to work with.

We were looking for a logo designer —in a very shortened and high stakes time frame — who was seasoned enough to deal with a cast of C-Suite leaders, and flexible enough to capture and reflect multiple opinions in a complex merger of two brands forming one new entity. The designs Jenny shared were put into research with multiple other logo designs, and Jenny's tested higher than all others, and higher than any logo design we'd ever done. Jenny's logo design was unanimously selected.

Jenny is an exceptional strategist and creative person. Her talent and her business savvy are a rare combination — shown in how she synthesizes the business and marketing challenge as well as the input, to how she does her own research to prepare for creative development and then ultimately how she presents and finalizes the creative product. She is an absolute dream to work with.
